Algonquin graduate and local hero Marc Lepine has won gold at the Canadian Culinary Championships! Congratulations to Marc and his team (including fellow sommelier program graduate Steve Robinson) for this landmark achievement. Read more at this link Local Chef Wins Big. Marc, Steve and team work at the Dow's Lake area ATELIER restaurant. Also huge thanks to Marc's friends and colleagues in the local restaurant community for helping him stay open while he and his staff were in Kelowna. That is a real testament to the collaborative and supportive nature of the Ottawa food community. Good work everyone!
